CHALLENGE
Continue the rebrand begun by Siegel and Gale in 2014 to transition CVS into a total health care brand.

SOLUTION

By literally leading with heart completely revamped the brand’s visual identity including; typography, grid system, photography, illustration styles, to unique heart art expressions all designed with the the CVS Health Heart as a foundational assets to visually deliver on the brand promise. Personally led many components of the visual refresh, implemented brand training as well as overseeing the creation of new guidelines while leading client meetings with C-Suite.

Mobile power house Kargo which is one of Inc. 500 fastest growing companies 2 years running brought me on as an Art director to develop and execute a company wide rebrand.

While directing a team of designers, off site freelancers, and an outside agency I oversaw Kargo’s new branding and website. Directed international photo shoots, animated videos in After Effects, built business proposals, animated emails and responsive websites.

Surface Magazine June - September 2010

Created video save the date for Luxury Environmental Design and Event Production firm VAN WYCK as first project of ongoing freelance collaboration.

CHALLENGE:
How do you define and strengthen an agency’s culture when most of the company has moved to fully remote or hybrid work and the culture while vibrant has never been formally defined?

SOLUTION:
Working with a small team of strategists and writers we defined our ways of working with these beliefs and behaviors to better define our culture. We rolled this out in an “Agency Brief” with a new visual system rooted in our new online couture. The brief was delivered in an interactive Zoom session with videos, musical numbers, animated gifs, and breakout sessions.

Using production art while collaborating with director John Cameron Mitchell and producer Howard Gentler to create a zine style press booklet for 2017 Cannes Film Festival promoting of the Coming of age punk sci fi film directed by Mitchell based on the short story of the same name by Neil Gaiman.

CHALLENGE:
Tasked with rebranding and modernizing the 238-year-old “Bank of Banks” with the energy of a startup while maintaining its long-held reputation for excellence as well as managing a wide range of opposing decision makers on the client side.

SOLUTION:
Created a robust, structured, and flexible brand system that could adapt to the many different communication needs of a large financial institution. The success of the initial rebrand and its quick adoption led to additional projects including; the Annual Report, Multiple divisions sub-branding, the creation of numerous templates, and an HR Campaign.

CHALLENGE:
To help the prepaid wireless company address very real customer perception issues and market loss.

SOLUTION:
Beginning with a new brand strategy putting the customer's experience at the center of all business decisions we created a brand lead company that was often seen as the example for their larger parent company (AT&T) to follow. We took the outdated and limited brand system and created a modular system that in testing maintained the same recognition of the legacy brand while increasing the perception of quality. The system had great adoption and was easy to use by the many partner agencies we oversaw doing work for Cricket.

Created the visual branding for Le Meridien's Global Brand Summit introducing the new brand identity to hotel owners and general managers.

While working with the agency Sequel Studio created interactive Environmental, Social, and Governance Report for Goldman Sachs.

The project started off in conception as literal world map with explorable stories related to the report.  Based the immense scope of the report while working with UX Consultants we evolved the map concept into an explorable responsive grid consisting of big stories, small stories, and stats.

Working for Hudson Furniture curated the layout and lighting of their event with Alexander McQueen celebrating Hudson's new line and McQueen's 2012 resort line.

Launching a 360, brand-led integrated campaign

In our first engagement with Wayfair, we helped construct its foundational brand strategy. In our second engagement, we had the great opportunity to bring it to life in a 360-degree, brand-led integrated advertising campaign spanning broadcast, digital, social, and online video.

The campaign signals a sea change in Wayfair’s approach to advertising and commitment to being brand-led. Instead of focusing on individual channels, it’s now going to market with one fully integrated, unified campaign with a strong POV across every touchpoint. Data we’ve received to date indicates that this is paying off—the :15s are apparently being “extremely well received,” and Wayfair’s TikTok presence grew 40% as soon as we launched our assets.
